Most of our manufacturing work is done in Germany and Europe: uvex is “Made in Germany” by conviction and tradition.

The uvex safety group, uvex sports group with uvex sports and Alpina as well as Filtral.
In the sports and leisure segment, by electing to market both uvex and Alpina products, we have chosen to operate a dual-brand strategy in the specialized retail sector. uvex is well positioned worldwide, while Alpina is primarily oriented towards the European market. The two brands are in competition with each other, thus permitting us to cast a wider distribution net. The large-scale retail sector is served by Filtral, which operates purely as a sales company.
